There are special steel grades that have high tensile and yield properties based on how they were rolled and their chemical composition. These special grade steels have low carbon content and addition of special elements like niobium, titanium and vanadium.
These differences not only give them much higher yield and tensile properties, but also, high elasticity and energy absorption properties. As such, products produced from these steels have the ability to deliver the same results of a heavier and larger sections with less mass.
MMZ is able to process high yield steel grades of up to 700 N/mm2. This is twice the yield value of the strongest commercial grade. High yield steels are mostly utilized in automotive industry, construction vehicle equipment industry and construction industry itself.
